During a sunny to mid-sunny day, this studio has great natural light from sunrise to sunset. There are 3 windows that are North facing and get soft even light throughout the day with no hard lighting. The 2 West facing windows (near the freestanding tub) does get hard light a few hours before sunset. To keep with the design aesthetic of this room we elected not to use window coverings. It may seem as though the room is exposed to prying neighbors, but rest assured that the surrounding properties are managed by us and currently unoccupied.
We do have overhead dimmable lights in this studio - however you may want to bring off-camera lightingon gloomy days or evenings.

Based on the size of this space and depending on what type of subject you're shooting, my favorite lenses in this space (with full-frame camera):
24-70mm 2.8, 35mm 1.4, 50mm 1.2

While this is a decent size space for boudoir, it is still a pretty intimate size and different angles. You can make other lenses work but my preferred lens for this space is the 24-70mm 2.8 and 35mm 1.4

We love BABIES! And we love Cake Smashes! However, cake smash sessions are only allowed in the Milestone Studio. 

can i have a cake smash in this studio?

We love to help photographers host mini-sessions here, however there are a few rules to keep in mind. If you are going to host more than 2 sessions in one hour, you must book the large group rental, even if your guest total is under 2 guests.
There are a lot of different reasons for this, but if you have any questions regarding this policy, please don't hesitate to ask.

can i host mini sessions here?

The max limit is 2 Adult guests in the Hampton Studio during regular season (Jan 1- Oct 15). This space is just under 500sq. ft. and designed with Boudoir and Branding sessions in mind. It is an intimate space with high end hand selected design elements.
